Listening to Adrian Kennedy and one bird used it 28 times in the space of ten minutes, can she not insert another word? "I was like yeh and then she was like right and I said yeh to Anto he was like, duh"

I can see this ending up in the cuckoos nest but anyways just felt a need to get it off my chest. ****ing illiterate bitches the lot of them!

Yeah and people should speak in metaphors and use the words "bitches" and "birds". I get your point but you could have put it across better.

28 times in 10 minutes isn't all that much like.

I do admit I could have put my point better. I have a habit of using the word birds too often!

A bit of tolerance would go a long way is all. So, until you learn it, stfu, tbh.

Have to agree with this thread - I despise anyone who peppers their sentences with the word 'like' (or to a lesser extent 'roight')!!! Being a TCD student doesn't make life any easier; they're everywhere.

Heh, said tongue in cheek but you have a point. I thought the part with John Kelleher, the film censor, was better. That freak in the crowd started giving it socks about the movie '9 songs' and when pat tried to ask him a question he shushed pat and said "don't interrupt me". Pat turns on the smarm and drowns yer man out with questions and interruptions.

Ok- this is a pet hate of mine as well.
To the first poster- I'm sorry- but you're listening to Adrian Kennedy and you have the gall to bitch about the low lifes who feed his ego. Turn it off, go out, get a life- but turn the radio off.

Yes, all those "roight", ffs, f this and f that- are we attempting to appeal to the lowest common denominator? It not exactly difficult to speak English, even if most of us have appalling gramar without even noticing it.

All of these words being repeated- perhaps its a combination of nervousness on the part of the person speaking, but should the rest of us have to put up with their trash?

    Adrian Kennedy..... gah! Arsehole.

Do you all like have a problem like with the word like.....like?

It serves very well as a coma if you couldnt be arsed putting in the coma you just put in like instead.

    I think its dead handy....roight?!!
