trying to share a broadband connection

    i'm a student in hungary, i want to link my computer to my mate's one, he has a broadband connection, i've been told i can buy a new router but its 120e and i dont want to spend that much, anyone know a inexpensive way of linking?

    shared internet connection

    thats if his mate's computer uses usb from the BB Modem, if thats not the option, get a hub or a switch, they only cheap, run the BB Modem to the hub/switch and connect PC's to it!

    Striker you can have 2 network cards in the pc, 1 to BB modem, 1 to other pc, that's what I have
