    does any know of any good audio cleaning software, i want to clean up some lp's and cassettes and burn them to cd :cool:

    Cool Edit pro or Adobe Audition as it is now has some nice filters for noise deduction and click and pop eliminators and Lots more as well. It expensive but an excellent piece of software if your into playing with sound .

    You need to spend a little while figuring out the noise removal component, be sparing with click and pop removers, and avoid all the effects processing (with the possible exceptiom of some EQ or gain boosting if absolutely necessary). I have gotten brilliant results with the previous version of the prog.
