    Subscription based horse racing channel Racing UK will launch on ntl's digital cable service tomorrow (Thursday).

    The first two weeks of broadcasts will be unencrypted to give viewers a chance to sample the service.

    Racing UK Ltd executive chairman Simon Bazalgette told The Scotsman: "Ntl’s penetration in certain key regions makes Racing UK available to significant groups of people who have previously been unable to access the channel via their television sets.

    "The agreement is particularly well timed as we approach the Cheltenham Festival when we will be the only broadcaster to show all the races from all four days of the meeting."

    Racing UK joins Fox's UK entertainment channel FX289 which will also be added to the platform tomorrow.

    Doubt it - ntl Ireland and ntl:home (UK) purchase channels rights on a different basis - I wouldn't be surprised if no more "new" channels are seen on ntl digital for the next while, until they get their sale all cleared up. So it looks like Racing UK won't be on ntl - although I could be proven wrong biggrin.gif
