    Hi,

    I have a 12" powerbook 1.33G4, 768mbram, osx version 10.3.8.

I had some recent problems with preferences sop i did a clean system restore using the software restore cd's and everything went ok.

The only problem is, originally there was a mac os9 classic environment available so if i wanted to run or install older software it was there for me, but now it is gone and i cant seem to install software i have like premier, illustrator etc.

Anybody know how i can solve this problem?? Its really bugging me.

    Thanks

It's popssible that the Restore operation doesn't put Classic back in by default. Stick in your installers and explore the "custom" installations. It's years since I've done this so I'm a bit hazy.
