After my five year wait for DSL in my home i ordered eircom broadnabn and they have given me the 22nd of this month for installation date.
The thing is a m8 was meant to have his installed on the 15th just gone and they still havent called.
NOTE: we are both on ISDN and therefore have to go for an engineer install.
Just wondering do eircom normally arrive on the date given?

They should. Otherwise, what is the point of giving one?
I would call them and get confirmation number, so they can't give you the excuse of 'we have nothing scheduled for you on that date' if the engineer doesn't show up.
Not sure about the 'legalities' of the cancelling with out informing you....can you bill them for your time if they don't show up?
