Can't remember the exact details of the hand, as it was a while ago and i've been trying to banish it from memory. It was in one of the SA tournies in the Merrion, and Muso was dealing. I'm dealt AQ - which that day had twice cost me in the business league in the fitz. There was an Asian girl at my table, who that day went on to win it. Not sure of her name. Watched her play for the past hour or two, and was saying to myself how if I get in a hand with her, do not bluff, as she only plays good hands. I raise preflop with my AQ. She calls. I don't hit the flop, but have overcards, I believe it was 9 high. She checks, I bet, hoping to take it there. She calls. I tell myself to give it up, I'm not pot committed. Turn is X. She checks. I say check, as my hand horses over half my chips into the middle. I realise I only said check in my head, my hands were not listening. She calls. River another 9. Check and in go all my chips. She immediately calls and shows 89s. I walk out extremely embarrassed.

I'd only post that unreg'ed, I'd be that embarrassed. If you limp with a small pocket pair and don't hit on the flop, fold to any bet.

not how to play pocket 3s but at least you had a hand!!!!

by far my most embarrasing hand was in the fitz a couple of months after i started playing there.

i was shattered tired and CALLED an ALL IN, putting me ALL IN in the 20in game, ON THE RIVER with my straight.......which i realised was only 4 to a straight when i turned them over.

i fell to the floor if i remember correctly.
