i too, got a digi camera off them. Really good prices. Manuals come in French though so make sure to download the appropriate one's first. Unless of course your French.Watch out for Excl Vat signs. Got my hopes up a few times without noticing the prices were excl vat.

    Strange.
I've just checked the prices for PS2 accessories and found the following
8MB Sony Memory card for 32 Euro EXCLUDING VAT? Total 38.72
PS2 Sony controller for 29 Euro EX VAT 35.09 inclusive.
There ain't NOTHING cheap about those prices!

Has anyone bought off this site. They seem to have a very good offer at the moment for a Sony cybershot DSA W12 at € 281.
I'm not sure what the p&p costs.
    Any comments

postage is usually around a tenner and takes about 3/5 days.
i've bought a lot of stuff from them, no problems.
but they offer a "Zen" type of insurance policy which is automatically added to your at checkout. in my opinion i wouldn't take up this offer, as the manufacturers warranty should cover you anyway. (there's an option to remove it)

They're no longer stocking it, but www.pixmania.com were selling that Sony camera for 278 euro with a leather case thrown in (and a 2-year warranty)...

Funny thing is, it's 3 bucks cheaper on the French site!

I bought a digital camera from them last month (nice Canon Ixus500 for just over €380 - cheapest price I could find on the net). Shopping cart will add Irish VAT @ 21%. Manuals are typically not in English, but no issue downloading them from the net. Credit card seemed to take some time clearing (don't know if that was just me?), once they dispatched I got it in 3 days. Don't forget to look up promotion codes on the internet - I got some additional free stuff & a 3% discount.

I am thinking of buying this camera from the UK Pixmania site as it works out at about EUR0 333 you can get a further GBP10.00 off if you look up the codes in the camera mags.

I ordered a Fuji Finepix S5500 from Pixmania on Wednesday night (late) and it arrived at my office before me this morning (Friday)! 1 working day.

Everything was in order (I got manuals in French, German AND English!) and I saved well over €100 on the high-street price.

I also bought a battery charger (which has a 2-pin Euro-style plug) and they threw in a converter - just as well as I hadn't thought about the different plugs.

I'm impressed with both the camera and with Pixmania.

Just a little advise, use the UK Pixmania site. Prices are always cheeper and you can easily find promo codes for 10 Pound sterling off on the web. Their delivery is approx 13 Euro by DHL and once product is in stock and you order before 1pm you'll recieve your goods the next day. Ordered several time from them and they never let me down.

I just looked up the Olympus remote Cable RM-CB1; not only is it a different product than elsewhere (?) it's also over double the price at 102eu (dunno about the VAT even!). Literally. Something strange going on there or else I'm confused.

For cheap Fuji cameras it's worth checking the refurbished ones on their site. http://www.fujifilm.co.uk/technical/refurb/
The only difficulty is you'll have to get a UK pal to pay and get it shipped to em.
A friend in Belfast ordered me a Finepix F700 and it's like new.
Argos Ireland: €550 Fuji refurbished: £140

Great value-Is there any sort of guarantee or warranty with the refurb?

    Wha
t exactly is cheap on that site??

    Agreed.
I would always be wary of recommendations from people with a very SMALL number of posts?
Maybe one of them will tell us what's so cheap about this site.

It was 6 months as far as I recall. It probably says on the site though.
