Video Card I've got has the wrong output

So I've got this new (second hand) All In Wonder Sapphire video card.
The cards I've had so far have a small serial type blue output on them.

This has a larger output white socket, like the one on the left on this image..

Do I need a special cable for this or is my monitor not going to work with it?

    yeah youll need an adapter.

some newer cards are appearing like this, as i learned recently.
in the box you generally get a bunch of cables and adapters.

as its second hand these may have been lost,
contact the seller or else check the manufacturers site as replacements are usually available.

the adapter you need is a dvi to 15-pin vga female afaik
you could probably get one on ebay or in maplins

The larger white socket is a DVI connector, used on modern LCD/TFT monitors. There would probably have been a DVI-VGA adaptor included with the card when it was new. Contact the seller and see if you can get it off them. If not, buy one.

You need a DVI to VGA adapter, i have a couple here.
Did you get the other cables etc with the card?
    This
    should be similar setup.

I didn't get the remote or the adapter as shown in that page..

I've contacted the seller about it.
    Thanks for the help!

Emerson, I've had a root in the shed.
If you're stuck I have the purple breakout boxes, DVI adapters, Vid cable and s-video cable.
