Multiple Pages to a sheet: Adobe Reader

Is there a way to print two or more Adobe pages to a sheet without using the printers own driver?

In DCU's Computer building, attempting to print multiple pages with the HP driver's setting causes problems:

"Printing Multiple pages per sheet should also work correctly, provided it’s configured from the print dialog within the application (Word, Acrobat etc.) and not from the printer driver settings which will cause the pages to be printed full size on top of each other."

I can find a setting in word & other MS software but not in Adobe. Is there an app that I could use to split the pages, save the file and then print the file out?

I haven't tried it (am actually on my way home now to do so :)) but from some reading on the net it seems that version 7 of Acrobat reader (new) can do it.
There are also 3rd party plug-in's for the old versions.

I'm not sure this will help you from college computers as they may have old versions of Acrobat.

Maybe if you ask the admin's they'll be nice and install it.

In that picture you attached. Go into Properties>Layout Tab>Pages per Sheet.

    That's always worked for me.

Clicking properties launches the HP settings dialogue:

Results in a mass mess of wasted paper. I suppose I'll need to kindly ask the admins to install Adobe Reader v.7

This has now been fixed on the D.C.U. computers...

Nope.. the message is as above today. It works now, but as I was sayin'.. only for apps that allow multi page printing inherintly.

    Adobe 6 won't do this :-(

I fired off a mail to the admin. Anyone know an app that I could install on my laptop to split the pages of a pdf into one, save it and email them for printing from a lab pc in the interim?
