    I think you should remove your post and rapidly visit the main Broadband forum where you will find one of the biggest threads around on this very subject.

    Otherwise you will get very nice people asking you constantly are you blind etc :)

    I don't know how they can offer 2MB broadband, no caps, free Telephone line rental for E35 a month, with eircom it's nearly that for line rental and E55 for an much inferior broadband service, Smart have 1 new customer. :D

    llu(Local Loop Unbundling) thats how
    btw 20 mbit in france is 30 euro

    either their overheads are going to be WAY lower than industry norms or it is all a con job and that is imho.thats like asking eircom to half its prices and survive-it cant. its gross profitability is at most 20% of turnover. never forget how big business works. the majority shareholders may cash out b4 a single customer is connected and make 50 million euro in the process. the share price has already doubled. the employees wont be to blame if this really is the case as they are just that employees. no one knows what will happen but it will be interesting to say the least.

    yes but persumably line rental is on top. i dont believe it can be done for a sustained period of time but then i havent seen the figures. there is an old saying though if its too good to be......
    having said all this i would still sign up, i believe they have 70000 customers according to their website so would need to sign up soon.
