    Well ISA is quality.... ;)

Anyone know the opening times? Hard place to get to at peak times. Also if anyone has been there could give us an idea of whats on offer it would save someone (me) a wasted journey.

On a side issue, Compustore must seriously of been doing something wrong (yeah other than the prices :D ). Given that PC World are EXPANDING in Ireland while this shower cling on by their fingernails...

Might go in and pick up a 56k v90 modem. I hear they're going for €169. The internal ones are even cheaper than that

    Directions from McD's.
Turn right and next right again.
You have to do a u-turn before the Esso garage and it's on the left.
It's just before the end of that road, before the Motorbike shop with all the bikes in the windows. Stay on the left as you go in and it's around the back.
You can't really drive to it on the Longmile Road as there's no where to park.

I got some because had to backup a notebook and some PDA protector kits and some Nokia serial cables. Came to €25 , but they dropped it down to €20.

Absolute rip off, most of the stuff was just half the retail price.
But even still higher than Marx, Jaguar, Shop4Memory , all of which are in Dublin and they offer better warranties than a liquidation sale.

There was a CF adaptor for an ipaq for €30 and a few cheap AP's..

    As for haggling
"fifty euro ? , but I can get a new one for eighty" , "you do that then."

    Yes.
They decided against taking over the leases on the Long Mile Road and Stephen's Green branches, as the rent was astronomical. They are rebranding the existing IQON stores (think there are 8 nationwide) and extending the franchisees nationwide too.

IQON are of course the Drogheda outfit who built all the Phillips PCs (Europewide) as well as supplying PCs to Tesco and a number of other retailers.

Seems like an interesting progression for them!
