    One thing, the standard of hurling for this time of the year was bordering on inhuman. Some great hurling played this weekend. Then again, I am from Cavan so... :P

    Being an Athenry man, I was at the Match in Ennis. I thought it was a great game of hurling. Hard but fair. Nice win for Athenry over a good Toomevara team. Didn't see the other match but James Stephens will be hard to beat. Should be an Interesting final.

    Does any one know what kind of suspension goes for a straight redcard? I've heard all kinds of sh1t like if it was a striking incident(Hurl) then its 3 months, If it was a non striking incident (without hurl) then it was 1 month. I also heard that it might be a match suspension. so as apposed to time it woul be 1,2,3... match ban. can anyone shed anylight on this? Also if it is a one match ban does this mean it can be any match like am Inter County match or a club league match?
