    alrighty folks

i did some work on my car over the weekend and its still playing up <idling and stalling basically>

i changed the lambda <as it showed up on the computer> also cleaned the idle air valve . i noticed the butterfly valve in the manifold is broken, the plastic matchstick like thing.........a mechanic said not to worry about it, is this the cause?

im thinking it might be the throttle position sensor. as the fuel filter and plugs have been changed.

    thanks

The butterfly flap is broken????? Well I'd say that worth fixing myself. How clean or dirty is the air intake valve area? Sometimes rough running can be caused by a build-up of crud inside the valve and around the edge of the butterfly flap, this robs the engine of air so it runs rich and rough.

how can i change the butterfly yoke? its built into the whole manifold head and you cant lift it up as theres a notch on the plastic to stop it being lifted

its broken at the bottom. ?
