What’s the difference between Dabsvalue Graphics cards and Retail versions in particular I was looking at the GeForce 6800GT 256MB DVI VO £230.68 inc VAT

    http://www.dabs.com/uk/Search2/Product+Details.htm?quicklinx=3BH3&searchphrase=6800gt

I have read its much the same and it just cheaper because its OEM and comes without a software package, which if true would be great.

Does any one know if it has slower memory etc?

Has anyone ever bought a Dabsvalue product any opinion?

I have compared the prices with delivery with similar cards with delivery.

    Dabs 352.884 EUR
    Overclockers 414.636 EUR
    Tech heads 398.089 EUR
    Komplett.ie 432.00 EUR

From what I gather the Dabsvalue seem to be made by Inno3D, which are supposed to good.

When I bought my Dabsvalue 9700 it was a full retail Powercolor 9700.

At worst you would get an OEM 6800GT.

Nice one. I have often wondered about those dabs value cards. Good to know that they're quality. Nearly 50 euro in the difference from what popey's found. Quite a chunk.

I Have order it anyway worked out 364.024 EUR. turns out it should be the full inno3d version i only noticed in the customer reviews come with a full game

"Well, worth the purchase. Infact, FYI this is the Inno3d 6800GT, so don't be put off thinking this is an unknown brand. I was surprised to find it came in a retail box because I expected at this price it would come as OEM! Contains full version of the game Commandos 3 plus various other free demos. Also, Overclocks very well to Ultra speeds. Both the core and memory stable at 410MHz and 1110MHz respectively (stock = 350MHz and 100MHz). Ultra for £250, Awesome VFM!"
