Password finder??

afaik, there is no generic effective password finder. You can download brute-force ones from sites such as astalasvista.com, which is a superb resource on IT security. Brute force programs simply try every possible sequence until they succeeed. They are not feasible really, would take weeks of coninual running at least to have much hope of success.
Most passwords have a secret question to allow retrieval. The odds are that you would know or guess your wife's answer to hers. This generally resets the password of course; it does not inform you o fthe current one, so it is a once-off result anyway.
More inventive approaches involve such things as a fake login page which stores the password for you.
A keylogger would work in your case, come to think of it. This is a particularly irritating component of some virii. It records every keystroke on the machine. I am sure there are some non-viral ones that you could install on a machine she uses. I expect you would find a link to one on astalavista.com.
A totally different approach would be to start talking about funny passwords, it's funny how people choose passwords, I know it's cheesy but my passsword is actually my pet name for you (blush) etc. Then ask her her password.
