Do they still hold gigs upstairs in the Firestone on Abbey Street?

Was there a few times, had a great laugh! Broke a guy's nose (It was an accident, honest!)

    Haven't been in years though.

    Fun times.

    The Music Room!

It was a great small sweaty place for a gig!
Sadly...the place closed down suddenly and without warning more than a year ago.
    No explanations given.
For months after, if you looked up you could still see the stools jammed in the windows to keep them open....
    :(

'Twas a sweaty place alright, you wouldn't want to be too sensitive going in there.

    Sad to hear it's gone.

Where's the best place to go now?

Since toxic took Voodoo under it's (his) wing it's there. But I'm not a big fan of the place.

I've only been there for one gig. It's a bit out of the way for me so haven't ventured down since.

    Meh!

There was a Jam tribute band there a while ago (The Modfathers) but I'm not sure really how long ago it was.

Wasn't at it (saw the real Paul Weller a while ago) but apparently it's a good spot.

Not sure if they did close it down though

Modfathers are playing Voodoo on the 25th of this month. They're brillant. Perfect Jam sound. Adive any half Jam fan to go.
