    DKW ?

(plate on white car says 'DKW' :D )

Nope. There is a DKW connection, but the plate is something of a red herring.

Well the red one is an Alfa Spider :)

Haven't a clue about the mystery cars though. Any more hints?

    Well done alastair!
You had me baffled for a little while and I was also thinking of "Ginetta's" and other obscure manufacturers, but after closely looking at the DKW remark from Silvera, I have come to the conclusion that in effect Silvera was "half right" on the first car:

That's a DKW/Puma GT Coupe from 1967-69. Puma is a Brazilian company that started off building cars for the home market based on DKW's initially, and switched over to Volkswagen later on.

Therefore the other car is a Puma 1600 GTE Coupe from the seventies, powered by a rear engined VW.

Paul, I'm impressed, advantages of having good knowledge of classics. Most of what I know is off my dad and out of books.
