MP3 Organization...

    Decided to get on top of this, i've just under 10,000 mp3s n i wanna organize them into one folder...

    Anyone got any sugestions??? Know of any programs that can simplfy the process(pain)?? Also, is there any programs that can download album art n rename id3 tags automatically???

    kmp3 is good for tagging and renaming - uses freedb database.

    but I would be interested in something that does all this automatically

    wma dosent really do music very well you should convert them to mp3.

    dbpoweramp does so I believe.

  • convert to mp3 from wma is a bad idea! jusr re-rip it again from the CD. if you convert then you're compressing a compressed file!

    oh of course, I mean thats what id do, its not like I have mp3s of cd I dont have :rolleyes:

    MP3 Book Helper - Mp3 management. Try this along with Tag&Rename

    If you need more advanced features, MP3 Tag Studio is the one for you. It can do quite a bit more than tag & rename (but T&R will do practically everything the normal user needs).

    mp3 tag studio what i use too, it's great fully recommend it. it's also got the right click menu when you right click an mp3 you can retag from it's filename or rename using tags
