Wake on LAN...

OK will be trying to set up my first network when my wireless router arrives next week.
In preparation for this I put in an NIC into my desktop for connection to the router. I was using a USB modem up till now.
Now when I was fitting the card there was a small wire cable that connects the card to the mobo for wake on LAN facility.
Only trouble is I can't find a port/socket for it on the mobo. Reason probably being that it's a Dell.

Anyone here got a dimension 4500 or similarly boarded Dell that's run into this? I've browsed dell's sites regarding this and can't come up with the info I need. I assume without being able to conect this cable that WOL isn't going to work for me...?
All help is appreciated as usual.
