Hibernation

    hi all, i tried out the hibernation deally thing on windows xp on my pc and it turns off and then when i start it up again it says resuming windows then when its loaded it goes to a black screen for about 2 minutes then just abandons it and just restarts normally.

    Does anyone know whats going wrong, ive seen it work properly before on a friends laptop..

    A guess: some piece of hardware causing a conflict. Had problem on old PC with a DVD drive. Try googling your components with hibernation and see what turns up.

    u need to download "user32.dll" from microsoft.com
