Found it interesting to hear Garrison Cade is off the injured list and currently shaking off the ring rust with OVW.
He's also been told to let his hair grow long, in preparation for a planned story
with none other than his mentor Shawn Micheals. Apparently he'll become a crazed stalker who mimics the Boy Toy in actions and appearances.
And he'll call himself; wait for it, H B Cade.

Done properly, it could be good, or at least very funny.

Just hope it doesn’t come across as cheesy as when Stevie Richards and Golddust used to come out copying other stars, or when Kanyon became "Positively Kanyon" copying DDP. (Cringe)

I heard this story before Cade first got injured. I just wonder what good it can do his career. I mean, where does he go after Shawn kicks his ass?

Exactly. It may be funny at first but what does it do for Cades long term future? And when does it kick in? If they go ahead with Angle V Michaels does that mean maybe Backlash sometime?

Look at Christian for example. The fact he was The Broods jobber in the late 90s hasnt hurt his current career.

IMO, if Cade does feud with HBK, he will pick up the victory. His future is ahead of him, he is a pupil of Michaels', and Shawn will put young talent over (something a buddy of his could try every now and then!)

Now now, we all witnessed a certain somebody put Benjamin over two weeks in a row and Eugene once or twice (before destroying him).

Christian did come up out of the whole Brood thing unscathed i suppose. But he had Edge to fall back on to create a successful tag team. Will Cade have that? Plus Christian didnt have such a jokey gimmick.

The trouble with this type of gimmick is it could get Cade noticed very quickly and give him a big initial push, but when the joke wears off , if he can't go back to being Garrison Cade and take it to the next level, then he'll forever be remembered as the guy who imitated HBK.

But for the record, I think win or lose, a program with Michaels on Raw is a better opportunity for a young guy than say a program with Val Venis on Heat.

Sounds good any funny to boot.

I suppose. It should be entertaining if he can pull of the segments back stage.
