LONDON (Reuters) - A Welsh rugby fan cut off his own testicles to celebrate Wales beating England at rugby, the Daily Mirror reported Tuesday.

Geoff Huish, 26, was so convinced England would win Saturday's match he told fellow drinkers at a social club, "If Wales win I'll cut my balls off," the paper said.

Friends at the club in Caerphilly, south Wales, thought he was joking.

But after the game Huish went home, severed his testicles with a knife, and walked 200 yards back to the bar with the testicles to show the shocked drinkers what he had done.

Huish was taken to hospital where he remained in serious condition, the paper said.

Wales's 11-9 victory over England at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff was their first home win over England in 12 years.

Got another link to this in work (not here - can't be arsed to google for it tbh) where it mentions he was taking some medication and shouldn't have been drinking - whatever the fúck it was it probably needs to be taken off the market - or alternatively widely distributed to * put your social sh!tlisted stereo type here * :cool:

Don't these all come with warnings? I'm not a strict Darwinian selector fan -but seriously wonder why grass is illegal and SSRI's, dieting drugs, Zyban, thalidomide (past tense) etc can be prescribed by any quack. Smoking weed can give you lung cancer for sure - people have been doing this sh!t for centuries -the effects are known - SSRI's/Zyban - ffs - effects known? - not largely - I can't/wont name/suggest whose on the make here - but someone(one +many + incorporations!) clearly is!

No they would never say that... more like "may have side-effects when taken with the following substances... for a full list of such side-effects, please contact our head office in Basel..."
This would have made some sense if it was Aled Jones and he did it when he was 11 - (well to his record company anyhow) but maybe the guy also suffered from sleep deprivation - due to toddler - maybe this + drug + booze is the answer - otherwise there is a really bad drug on the market! (tradionally incompatible drugs work as follows: drug a combined with drug b - causes respiratory failure/stroke/heart attack/hair loss/blindness/depression/development of male breasts/skin disorders etc. not "you may feel compelled to mutilate yourself - but just genitalia" :eek: )
