Wireless convention Cork April 30th : interest check

    CorkWireless.com are hoping to host this years IrishWan national conference on Saturday April 30th in Cork city. Before we go ahead and book a venue and organise speakers we want to gauge how much interest there is in the conference.

    We would be grateful if you could find out how many people in your area/group would be interested in attending on April 30th in Cork. If you or someone is interested in giving a presentation, please mention this also.

    Last year's conference topics included:
    9:15 - setup of everything commences
    11:30 on - internet access available following several issues getting the college connection working
    12:10 - 13:00 - John Ronan & Brendan Kehoe - The SouthEastWAN - details of nodes, locations, coverage, pictures & brief mention of 5.8GHz hardware.
    13:00 -14:00 - Lunch
    14:00 - 14:50 - Robert Fitzsimons - Debian Linux VPN Server Howto

    15:15 - 15:40 - Adrian Legg - Future Wireless - 802.16 & 802.20

    16:05 - 16:20 - Break for tea/coffee
    16:20 - 16:50 - Christian Cooke - Group Broadband Scehemes
