Mod - Quake or Doom3

    In our college we're doing a mod as a software project,we are required to do it in linux and so half life would be tricky,we're leaning towards doom3 now,but there is obviously nowhere near as much resources on modding as halflife has.Could anyone reccommend what game would be our easiest choice.Or any thoughts at all :rolleyes:

    Theres plenty of resources on modding for Quake1.
    For starters you could get info from the forums on http://www.inside3d.com/
    Theres a lot of guys on there that make mods for Q1.
    At least they will help you see whats possible and give you further links etc.
    But maybe you'd prefer a more recent game to mod.

    try equake from http://equake.quakeworld.nu/ its the quake 1 game with loads of mods already there. :)
