anyone know how often do eircom update there dns? im using no-ip to allow me to use the dynamic dns for web hosting. from work i just type in the url and it work fine, however if i ping the url from home, eircom, i get my ip from a few days ago. obviously the url and ip are being updated as it shows up on the site and the…

In my experience it always happens within 24hours and sometimes sooner. But eircom do seem to be slower. You can query the listings for the major irish DNS servers using this tool http://82.195.129.128/dnscheck/
