CC Statement Question

Question for you all, if the bank of ireland send off your credit card statement on a Friday, when do they print it off.. Ya see i want to buy somethin but i don't want it showing up on this months statement..

Buy it the day after your statement date. IE Saturday!

yeah i know but if i can i'd like to buy on fri so it'll will hopefully be shipped before monday... i am one impatient bastard!!

It won't be shipped Friday more than likely. The people probably CBA sending it Friday evening.

sure i ordered 3 things from play.com, a cd for the gf, a cd for me and a dvd(the dvd being the main thing i wanted) both cd's come first, then at last i get the dvd yesterday, when i look at the package.. it was posted on the 22nd of Jan!!!:mad: same thing with my mic, ordered it a couple of weeks ago, only got it this morning!

Sorry off topic but out of interest did you guys order your audio equipment from thaumann.de? because they take months to deliver!! One of the guys in my college ordered a guitart from them at the end of Dec and it arrived this week! And one of our lecturers in college said he ordered stuff from them and it took 2 months + to get to him.

Back on topic: I've been burned by my cc, I thought I was dividing my Christmas shopping between November and December bills but it all ended up on the Dec bill

now I am penniless

They normally take 8 days. Perhaps the guitar was out of stock?

I don't think it was as he was kept saying "they said it'd be here in 10 days" in a very sulky voice. If it was out of stock he got no info about it.

Its takes at least 48 hours before its posted to your account, and i'd give it another 48 hours from statement print out, to statement mail out, so i reckon you have at least 3 to 4 days grace, and thats a worst case scenario, it proabably won't even be on that statement.

you mean if i was to get it today, it wouldn't show up on the statement they send out tomoro?

For me generally if i buy within 3 maybe 4 days of the statement being sent out, it doesnt show up until the next month. But thats AIB
