    Guys,
When i burn a CDRW with my ibook g4, it only allows me to burn once!
when i use disk utility it says that i cant write to it under the flag (writeable=no)
    Can anyone help with this.
Its annoying as cd rw's are more expensive than cd r´s
    thks

Adonis, I'm not sure exactly, and assuming you haven't tried this, but I believe you need to reformat the CD every time you write to it. Sorry, but I have no idea how to do that  .

I had a similar problem some time ago and I think it had something to do with the burning speed vs the CD burnable speed. You sure you have compatible CDs?

Have you tried erasing it from the disk utility? Or is that what you meant about writing from disk utility?

yeah, i try it from disk utility, and i think there is a check disk option, and beside writble it says "no".
i presume it should say yes, as it is a re writable disk..i tried to format, but it wouldnt let me... i really have no idea, i might email the apple support team..
i have tried two different types of cd rw´s a TDK and i dunno the other one.
i do remember it working before though, with an older cd..still no ideas from anyone??

Check the burn speed of the cdrw. Try a rewritable that is 1x burning. If you can. I think that's what I did.
