free audio software?

    hi, i've got some wav's that i need to edit, does anyone know any decent free audio software?

    i used to use cooledit, but adobe seem to have bought it up

    Anything by Cakewalk is top notch, easy to use stuff.

    The old Steinberg range is pretty good, though a little pricey.

    buy Cubase... thats pretty good....

    Or fork out on a mac and get pro tools
