Irish Users Who Ordered a New G4 recently......

    Hey All,
    I was just wondering how many Irish People bought the new g4 Powerbook from Apple since they got revd up a bit??
    I ordered mine on the day that it was posted on their website that the powerbooks were given a facelift.
    As far as tracking goes its crap i think anyway.
    As near as I can tell mine is in the NL and ( Hopefully ) flying out to Dublin Wed and then delivered to my door Thursday.
    Anyone else order and what did u ask for?? :)

    Ordered 15" superdrive with 128Mb video & 1g Ram last friday.
    According to website, 'ship on or before 18/02/2005'
    Got the bluetooth keyboard n mouse and the Griffin stand as well

    Well Ive set it up and was up and running in about 3 mins.
    Sure I still have to transfer over my stuff which I'll leave till the Weekend but last nite i was simply learning how to use it.
    I love learnign new things things and this is no exception, and its fun.
    I only have one worry.
    Im with Ulster Bank and they say on there Site that there banking system only works on Windows ( **** ) anyone ever get around this at all??

    Because they reckon there aren't enough mac users to go to all that bother.

    Try different browsers, or a PC emulator on the Mac.

    Because they have a stupid cobbled together banking interface.

    As for not enough mac users...they'd be surprised. And if BOI/AIB etc can have an internet banking system that works on a mac, why can't Ulster bank? Part of the reason I ditched them for AIB 2 years ago.
