    LOL

The line is caused by your screen, you will need to take a picture of it with a camera.

A dead pixel is about the size of full stop.

Don't know what that could be.

Bad news, your screen connectors are damaged, these are fine pathways etched into the glass and cannot be fixed, you would need a new screen to fix that.
I'm guessing it goes away when you move the screen up or down?
If it's under warranty get it replaced.

Just ring Asus and see what they say. Is it constantly there or it comes and go?

Looks like its knackered alright, You'll probably have to return it.

There is one thing that you could try, it worked for me with a dead pixel before, but your going to seem like a fool doing it. I "massaged" the pixel, just lightly. Only worked once mind, so no guarantees. Think it had something to do with one of the filter(cant remember the technical name for it, the pixels have red, green, and blue) being locked in the open position.

Its worth a shot if it saves you the hassle of sending it back, but to be honest with you, even I doubt that it would work in this case.

Sent it off anyway. Will i just get a replacement screen, or will they send over a new laptop, They said that it will be about 5 day turnaround.

I think it's cheaper for them to replace the laptop, so I hope you backed up anything usefull... or maybe they'll swap your current hard-drive into a replacement laptop, that'd be nice.
