    Hi
    Simple multiline textbox on a html form
    I'm replacing \n with <br>

    I have tried
    $newbody = str_replace( "\n", '<br>', $body );

    and

    $newbod=nl2br($body);

    both replace the \n with <br> but the string still gets written to the text file with new lines..
    it appears as

    the text<br>
    with the newlines<br>
    removed

    any suggestions?

    Try replacing \r\n instead of just \n
