Any idea why I can't get UTV, channel 4 and ITV2 from my freeview box. I have a Antiference xg10 band C/D aerial pointing at the Limavady transmitter. I can pick up BB1, BBC2m channel 5 OK.

    Thanks, Pat

I'd imagine your incoming signals are a bit low perhaps. ITV and Ch4 both share the same mux, which is C58 (mux 2). Are ALL other channels working OK? Analogue signals OK?

I could be wrong but off the top of my head I seem to remember something about a frequency clash between some of Limavady's multiplexes and one of the Irish transmitters (Holywell hill ?)

    Thanks for info.

I'm getting the main channels OK (BBC, shopping etc). I get a bit of ghosting on the UTV analogue signal but the others are OK. I tried connecting a Maxview aerial directly into the freeview box and picked up all the channels no problem - this is not a long term solution however as the aerial is too big for the living room:-)

Could it be that I have too long a cable run (from the wall socket it meanders through the house into the loft and then is connected to the aerial via and 8 way SLX amp. From the amp it goes to a masthead amp, diplexer then to the two aerials on the mast (Antiference for the Limavady signal and another Maxview for the Irish channels).
