Ripwave Upload speeds

    Just wanna check ive got upload speeds of 6.0k on a ripwave modem, even though the download speeds are greater than 450kbps, is this right, i thought it was meant to be 128k upload. :confused:

    128kbit upload = 12.8kbyte upload

    but due to start/end bytes the max you would get is
    about 11k a second.

    When i had ripwave i never got more than 12 k upload.

    but if you already know the above then it can either be a poor
    connection to the mast or the uploading program simply doesn't
    want/cant take any more speed.

    Ok thanks for that info, last night i was sending a file using ICQ and the max upload i got was 6.0kbyte so i suppose its ok i just thought it should of shown 128kbytes
