    Hi,

Seems like an old story for me but in the last few days i have got this allmighty spot attackack, my skin was fairly clear for the last month or so.Have been like this for the past year, i go clear for a month and then bang im back for ten plus small spots on my face.Could too much moistureisor cause this? I seem like im going round in circles and causing my girlfriend endless grief " me worrying when there is more bad **** in the world" .What the hell do i do? I had really bad acne for years and it aint shifting that much and no amount of reinsurance doe any help. Cant afford to go to a dermotologist YET again!!!

I had moderate acne a few years back, I did my frickin' head in but I went to my doctor and she prescribed me with a drug called Minocin. I took about 4-6 months to see an improvement but it did eventually work for me and despite the odd spots now and again my skin has been relatively great since. Try your doctor.

Everyone will say it's nothing to do with your diet. The dermatologist told me that. Magazines said it, tv said it. I was sure I got spots from sugar.

I said it to my GP and he said yes, a very small percentage of people will have reactions to sugar.

I cut down on sugar and spots started to fade.

Also, they always say if you squeeze them, they will leave a scar, I squeezed every one, I only have one tiny scar. I'd say I've squeezed well over 1,000 spots in my time.

Sorry to go off topic, but I was wondering is there anyway I can make my scars less visable without the use of makeup :)

Go to your GP an ask. He may perscribe you with Oxytetracycline. This may help with scarring.
