There is actually a Korean forum.
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=469

However your post seems to imply possible liable. You tell people to beware, want to report on "Shady Dealings" yet don't post any links to information that should make people "beware".

Feel free to post this on the Korean forum, but reword it beforehand or it will get trashed.

i-to-i and eslopportunities are the same company.

they are not shady - they are just businesses.

    ...

FYI Koreans hate westerners - http://www.areastudies.org/usinkorea/HELIOS/index2.htm is common...

    North or South ?

Have you found any of these type of companies that you wouldn't in your opinion consider "shady"

    South of course.....

A good friend of mine is over there now, being treated very well, getting paid well and really enjoying it. The title of this thread is Beware....but he's not telling anyone what to be warey of.

Actually it is generally the old people and even then only the men. Its supposed to be good for old age or something like that. It is also not a dog that is used as a pet (nor taken off the street). Bit like the difference between fluffy the rabbit and rabbit stew. Irish have been known to eat rabbit and horse.

FYI Koreans hate westerners - http://www.areastudies.org/usinkorea/HELIOS/index2.htm is common...

Actually that is not common at all. Sounds like either a dodgy pub, or they were mistaken for Americans during a bad time in a bad area. After the two school girls got run over by the US soliders a lot of Koreans treated Americans badly. However "American" tends to mean foriegner in Korea. I only had hassle in one place (a resturant) and once they knew I was Irish they were extremly friendly. Incidently a lot of them like the Irish (over world cup).

That website a lot it can also be explained in regards to the culture (for example, a Korean will generally smile or laugh if they are embarrassed or upset about something. Which the copper did in the story). Also if you read all the way though sounds like they were being muppets.

It's true about internet connectivity. Best in the world. Makes Ireland look like a third world techno country.

Both companies are pretty shady in terms of what they do and dont tell you. They are no the same companies either. Both websites are full of misleading information and outright lies.

Have info from recruiters in Korea that warned me about them as well as people who have used them and realised what they had let themselves in for after it was too late.

Korea is pretty anti-western in some respects. Just look at the english spectrum website fiasco over there. Demonstrations over western men 'corrupting; korean women yet prostitution in korea makes a bigger chunk of GDP than agriculture

    anywhoo....

A bit like yourself, you are just not telling us anything. How about some facts instead of innuendo?

Its the perception of the thing.

I did see the pictures in question and just looks like they were in a strip club, but if you had something similar posted here it would be shut down. Especially when it is posted on a website that is supposed to be for English teachers, not where they can get their nuts off.
