    From RTE

    U2 - No third show

    04 February 2005
U2 dates sell out, smashing box office records
U2 have broken all box office records in Ireland, with 160,000
tickets for their Dublin shows in June selling out in 50 minutes.

Promoters MCD have confirmed that a third concert will not be taking
    place.

Tickets for the concerts at Croke Park on 24 and 25 June went on sale
this morning at 8am, with lengthy queues having already formed at
    outlets days in advance.

It was reported that credit card phone lines were also jammed.

In the West and Midlands thousands of fans queued outside record
stores throughout the night in the hope of getting tickets.

In Ballinasloe record store owner Sean Fletcher said there had been
an incredible carnival like atmosphere throughout the night.

About 1,500 fans had joined the queue by the time the tickets went on
sale. The first 20 fans were given six tickets each.

There were also huge queues in Galway City, Loughrea, Athlone and
    Ballina.

U2 begin their world tour in San Diego on 28 March.

    Thats bull****
60,000 were sold in the presale over the last 4 days and 5-10 thousand are misc.
90,000 sold in 50 mins is more accurate.
    The third show is imminent
