Can anyone help? Have PC in office which uses ISDN to access a company database. Need to put a second computer in an office over head and want to access mthe database. Whats the best way to do it without having the correct software(citrix) on the second PC. Could i use some a sort of remote access to control PC in downstairs office ?

    Any ideas ?

You could use VNC for remote access.
    Can be downloaded from
    http://www.realvnc.com

I like tightVNC better (it's compatable with realvnc) the development verison with the hook driver installed (on a windows box) is very snappy to use on a lan

IIRC Citrix is a per concurrent user license so there should be no problems except if you run it on Windows terminal server in which case you need a license per client.

VNC from from one local PC to the other - so you both see the same thing on the screen - since it's a local connection you can change poll window settings for faster response

as an aside connecting into a terminal server on a remote site and using it to VNC into there computers on that site is much faster than the other way around.
