So i'm browsing myspace and a memory of the generals of passage from a book were jogged. It was jogged by just reading that the person liked Charles Bukowski, i cannot recall reading Bukowski!

The book i feel was a laxed account of the guys travels in the 60's america, the author was also a drunk. The main thing i can remember about the book was a paragraph about him cooking snails for his wife and sitting down to eat them in a dingy kitchen. The wife being disgusted by the fact he was eating the snails ****,i remembver laughing out loud at this part. There was also a part in the book where having met the same character many times through out the book he comments that he was well intentioned but slightly stupid.

    WHAT IS THIS BOOK!
WHY CAN I NOT REMEMBER FULLY READING IT!
