Thats not one of the better ones from your collection. Some of the pictures in the collection are excellent though, particularly "Dublin at Night" and "Dun Laoighaire Night".

It's the only one that comes under the 100kb upload limit...Dun Loaghaire night is slightly out of focus (very difficult to focus down in the dark) but the exposure is right on both of them.

Canon EOS300 with the stock 28-90mm lens. Can't remember the exact settings but it was near dusk with the sun setting behind.

The Dun Loaghaire at night and pigeon house at night ones were taken with a 20 sec exposure on a dark overcast night - the sky colour is light pollution reflecting back off the cloud cover. This gives an eerie metallic glow on the sand because the halogen street lights don't have the full colour spectrum, but when you look at it yourself your eyes compensate so you don't see the orangeyness.

Agreed. Fantastic picture (apart from the mess at the left of the frame which strikes a jarring note). Nice work Merrion.

What brought you to Lesotho by the way?
