    Hi,

How would I go about printing out business cards? Is there anywhere I can buy paper suitable for business cards and also what kind of printer would I require?

    Thanks,

The reason I want to print them myself is that I need to add photos on one side of the business card and this will be expensive. Is there anywhere I could get a quote of how much it would cost?

i've got quotes for mine, which are full colour, both sides, cost approximately 150 euro for 500, they'd be digitally printed (which is fine btw). Keep in mind, unless your photo is colour, you can actually get a 2/3 colour job done, if the photo is like greyscale (but can be a colour tone of your choice, eg: blue, green etc..)

Just got a quote for 250 full coloured business cards, (text on front of card and coloured picture on the back) €120 + VAT.

    Have you professionally prepared artwork?
There is no advantage in getting them professionally printed if the artwork is substandard. These cards are for your business, i take it - if they're cheap looking then that's what potential clients associate with your business.

I can prep your files & arrange a printer for you if you want.

It is to advertise 2 stallions available for Stud.
I have a professional picture taken of one of them jumping. I have
to scan this in and see what it will look like when I reduce it down to a credit card size ie. I think this is 88mm x 45mm.

At the front basically will be details of horses name, breed, owner and contact details. So it is straight forward. But I was hoping to get a good quality card as some cards discentagrate and wear down very quickly.
    Any suggestions on card quality?

If you where to prep files and arrange a printer would it be less expensive than I was originally quoted €120 for 250?
