NTFS partition recovery tools

I've searched around the web and have a few things to try, but it would mean buying some software. What has anyone else used successfully to recover a NTFS parition. I'm going to see what we have at work in the morning.

i used getdataback for ntfs when the MFT table got curropted on a disk i had..this got everthing back for me and saved my bacon at the time
