Most Annoying Character

Well, who would it be?

Personally I think its a very close run thing between Meg in Family Guy, Lisa in the Simpsons and Peggy Hill from King Of The Hill.

I think, after giving this consideration, it would be in this order

1. Peggy Hill. Between herself and Bobby, I cant actually watch this show anymore. The two of them just do my head in completely.

2. Meg Griffin. Probably because all teenagers are idiots, and the fact that teenage girls are ticking timebombs of emotions. But while a very well done character, she is cringe inducing. "My Life is Over". Get over it.

3. Lisa Simpson. To be fair to her, she has her moments, and her utter disdain of Milhouse saves her from being higher in the list. That said, a vegan, brainiac 8 year old, with unconventional political and religous beliefs is there to be despised.

I can't argue with putting Peggy Hill on the list.

As for the Simpsons,I hate that guy Gill.Then again I've hated The Simpsons for years now what with its general overall crappyness.
When did my favourite show begin its demise?Probably around the Armen Tanzarian storyline.
The new episodes aren't a patch on the ones from years ago.Americans are just too stupid to realise that...

Definitely Lisa and Spongebob. If Spongebob Squarepants didn't have him in it, it might be good. But otherwise it's just so frickin' annoying.
Marge annoys me a bit in the Simpsons as well. And in the Fairly Odd Parents, that little kid's voice is quite annoying.

Imo it has be Lisa Simpson, its the most unbearbale characther. Every time a Lisa episode comes on I switch over.

What!!?? Poor old gill. He has it hard and thats the great thing, we can laugh at his misfortune (i know mean but..) and the many jobs. Everytime hes in it, its a different one. He even got thrown out of an bed sit for alcoholics being told theres a 2 month max stay!!!

No,well I think the Little Lisa slurry one is good but mainly cause I think Mr.Burns is the best character in the simpsons. She used to be one of very few things wrong with the show at the start of the simpsons but now shes just a bad element in a rotten whole.

I don't find Gil annoying at all. He's just a loser. The most annoying cartoon characters are everyone in King of the Hill. I can't stand that show.

I never warmed to Gil.I always felt he was just a poor,unfunny version of Lionel Hutz.I especially hated that episode where Gil filled in as the Simpson's lawyer.What an insult.

You know its unlike me to disagree with you Mr Nice Guy, but.. I disagree.

The fact that Gil was the Simpsons lawyer, is merely a send up of how many lawyers there are in the States, most of which have to resort to 'ambulance chasing' in order to earn a crust.

Gils character was derived from Jack Lemmons character in the movie Glengarry Glenross, and did it very well as the down on his luck house sales guy. He went onto be a bad car sales guy, a bad computer sales guy, a bad doorbell salesman, even a cleaning guy in the quicky mart. He is just the stereotypical american middleclass loser who society keeps throwing him a lifeline only to make him more miserable everytime.

And as the lawyer, you gotta love that suit.

i like gill.you know when he is trying to sell the computer to the school and he lets it slip "you know this baby will rust right up on you" and then he's like "shut up gill, shut up, close the sale".

i personally cant stand vernon from the turtles myself, but i was never splinter's biggest fan. dont like smithers either come to think of it

My most hated character is Lisa Simpson. I can't stand how everything she says furthers her personal plight, be it about meat, religion, or animal causes. She can't just have a laugh or enjoy others' company, she just wants to selfishly harangue people. What a ****. I can't stand her!

I like Brian Griffin. One of the few amusing characters in a totally awful show.

Brian & Stewie Griffin are still one of the better comedy double-acts on TV, I always enjoy their back-and-forths. Brian's a pretentious hypocrite, but that's part of the character (recently picked in a rant from Quagmire iirc).

The most annoying character for me though would be the Homer Simpson that now exists on The Simpsons.

Once upon a time, he was a big 'aul dope you loved; sometimes selfish, always an idiot, but also always trying to do the right thing for his family. Now he's a bit of a dick, angry way too often, and a total caricature (if that's possible) of the man he once was.
