any musicians going to GMIT this sept?

hey all,
just wondering if any good musicians are going to the GMIT galway
this year? I've been playing guitar for the last eight years, and I'm thinking of starting up a band while i'm in the GMIT. see how far I might get.
i have a wide range of influences.........the killers, damien rice, van halen,
nick cave etc....

Hey. I play guitar too. I might be goin to GMIT next year but it would be a last resort if I cant get the money together to go to manouth

by the way, which course were you thinking of doin in GMIT?

I put GMIT down on my CAO,so i dont know if ill be goin......I sing and play guitar,btw!

divebomb, GMIT is an IT in Galway, it doesn't do any sort of music-I'm hoping to go there this september and I'm just enquiring if theres any musicians going there.

Well,ive been singing all my life. Playing guitar for the last 6 years...?(I think) I listen to.....erm....mostly rocky type stuff. Our Lady Peace, 3 Doors down, Metallica, Incubus, Led Zeppelin, lost prophets, and just about anything that has a good melody,or thats appealing to me!! How about yourself?

i'm really into the killers at the moment, i'd say damien rice and john frusciante have to be two of my all time favourite player though, it used to be steve vai and joe satriani but I grew outta that phase! are you a lead player and do you write any songs?

Ive been playing to and half years. My main influence is the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Right now Im realy into the Killer and Jeff Buckley.

Ive been playing for two and half years. My main influence is the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Right now Im realy into the Killer and Jeff Buckley. I have put down business with computing and Electronic Engeneering in GMIT but if the grant come's through Ill be off to do Music in Manouth if they'll take me (there is an interview)

Well if this bellend is too thick to notice the 'wide' difference between Bob Dylan and Guns 'N Roses, or Kate Bush and Rage Against the Machine, then.....wait - why am I bothering?
