Essentially a cut down satellite receiver, but with LCD containing channel and EPG info:

Hard to know how much it'll be. Possibly an SRP of €149, hardly cost more than that?

The Pace box appears to be vapourware, but VDR on something like a mini-itx system with LCD panel would be an interesting alternative:

I've got one. It's a box in the attic along with my MiniDisc players and pocket TVs.

It was great at first, but now I think that WRN is the only free station.

The subscriptions are poor value for static home use. Could be worthwhile if you had a yacht.
