RMA question

    I bought an OCZ PSU from www.pc-upgrade-memory.com and installed it. The moment I hit the on button, the socket fuse in my flat turn off. The new PSU had caused my fuse to turn off. Luckily it didnt damage anything on my PC and more importantly cause serious damage to the electricals in my house. I put my old PSU and everything works fine again.
    So I emailed pc-upgrade-memory and he refered to me the OCZ on his email. Its been 3 days now and I still havent received the RMA details for the PSU.
    I'm thinking that the PSU is faulty out of the box, why should I wait for a RMA. I should be given a replacement no?

    RMA = Return Merchandise Authorization.

    That IS what will get you your replacement. When you get that, you send the dead PSU back, and they test and send a new one to you if it really was dodgy. Unfortunately, very few companies take their customers word that the item is faulty, and most want to see the item before sending out a replacement :P For obvious reasons :rolleyes:

    Ahh, thats just b/s though I understand the logic of it. Thanks Mutant.
    Unfortunately after 5 days I still havent got RMA instructions for pc-memory-upgrade or OCZ which is another b/s. My first RMA and having so much problems lol.
