    sorry, i'm not sure where to post this, does anybody know is the zen mini works with windows 98? the first edition one? my computors pretty old, and i dont wnat to spend loads of money unless the zen works with it.

    zen mini? you mean the micro?

    it should be fine as long as you have the drivers.

    why not upgrade to win 2k maybe?

    You need at least 98SE for usb support as far as I remember. MS don't support that OS any more anyway so you're not getting any patches.

    Upgrade to 2k at least.

    98SE or better like Zakalwe said. Seriously though, consider XP, I've run it on pretty old machines with no bother, as long as you have a normal amount of RAM it should be okay.
