    I was always looking for this on the MetO website, but it never appeared to be there, so, whilst browsing the BBC Weather site......

    Since when has the BBC site been showing this? Very interesting indeed.

    The only other High Seas Forecast I've seen is on the New Zealand Metservice site here

    Also, the Shipping Forecast on BBC Radio 4 now has the tag line "THE SHIPPING FORECAST ISSUED BY THE MET OFFICE, ON BEHALF OF THE MARITIME AND COASTGUARD AGENCY" I presume this was changed at new year?
