Unless you use a password to access Windows in the first place, then checking the 'on resume, password protect' box won't do much as you haven't set a password.

Many Windows installations allow you to login without a password being set. If you're using Windows XP then you should set a password in Control Panel --> User Accounts.

windows nt/2k/xp use the logon password for thier screen saver.

win 3.1/9x uses a different password - again set in the screen saver, - to lock one of these use the preview button

about the problem, i think you have to use a standard m$ screen saver for it to be password protected

I've renamed clock.exe to clock.scr make sure you make the clock full screen and close it before you set it as the screen saver
