Michael Jackson will be appearing in court tomorow. News channels such as Sky news and Itv will be broadcasting live at about 4 or 5 pm. Its estimated that over 10,000 fans from across the globe will attend the opening of the court case. It should be one hell of a spectacle.

couldn't agree more, the trial has been a media-frenzy from day one and now that it's actually starting things are just going to get worse, the fact that Sky News and ITV are giving it full coverage say a lot about their self-imposed remit. There are plenty of things going on in the world that deserve to be reported, while this is one of them it certainly doesn't deserve the coverage it is due to get, it's not even top twenty in the category of running news story.

I have a funny feeling that this is going to go the sqame way with coverage as the OJ simpson trial, with sky news broadcasting constant coverage. does anyone know if they are allowing cameras into the courtroom.

Well they did that for the Hutton Inquiry, so I don't see why they won't do the same for this one
